Finding hope and restoration through Christ.
Throughout my journey with epilepsy there have been many losses, but God has a plan and poetry is a gift given back.
Carolyn Staffieri
Carolyn is a wife, mother of two and grandmother who lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 33 years. Carolyn was a Registered Nurse, who spent most of her nursing career working in neonatal intensive care. Epilepsy entered their lives during her first pregnancy and continues to be part of her story, to this day.
Carolyn always had a love for music and creative arts, but side effects from epilepsy left her unable to use these gifts as she planned. But God unfurled His grace and gave her the gift of poetry. She had never written poetry until recently and it became her gift given back.
Her husband John has been her rock through the good and the bad seasons. Their trust in God and love for each other continues to see them through each challenge that arises.
Carolyn and John have always loved traveling, visiting National Parks as well as family who live throughout the country. Spending time on the beach with their kids and grandkids is one of their favorite summertime activities. They have a Cavapoo named Ava, who enjoys sitting beside her while she writes.
